(Cyberthreat.id) – According to study by Google and Temasek, the digital economy industry in Indonesia reached US$27 billion and has the potential to reach US$100 billion by 2025. The digital economy sector contributes $20–25 billion, or around 10%, of the total foreign investment that reaches Indonesia.
In response, Christian Atmadjaja, Director of Virtus Technology Indonesia (VTI), stated that the digital economic infrastructure has been prepared during the past five years. But even as it works to advance the digital economy, Indonesia still has to deal with threats to its cyber security.
